The Goal
When Tanja began her collaboration with Lans & Co in the spring of 2025, she had a clear objective: to take to the stage and build a stronger position as a thought leader in her field.
Her ambition went far beyond simply delivering a good presentation. The goal was to use the stage as a strategic tool to strengthen her personal brand, build credibility, and open up new professional opportunities.
The Challenge
Tanja already possessed the competence, experience, and expertise required to be an influential voice in her industry. The challenge lay in translating that knowledge into a clear, engaging, and memorable message that resonated on stage.
Like many experts, she had a wealth of information to share but needed help prioritising, clarifying her core thesis, and creating a structure that ensured the audience would both understand and retain the message. In addition, she had limited experience speaking in front of larger audiences and wanted to develop confidence, stage presence, and impact in her delivery.
Our Approach
We began with strategy rather than presentation technique. Together, we identified the topic Tanja should own, the core thesis that would anchor her message, and the concrete takeaways the audience would leave with after her presentation.
Positioning and thought leadership strategy
Message development and thesis definition
Structure and storytelling
Adapting content for short stage formats
Practical speaker coaching
Video-recorded sessions with personalised feedback
Stage presence, clarity, and delivery
When Tanja took the initiative to contact a major conference and secure her first speaking engagement, our work entered the next phase. The focus shifted from strategy to execution and performance, where every single minute of the presentation was optimised for maximum impact.
The Result
In March 2026, Tanja delivered her first live stage presentation. The result was far more than just a successful talk — that very same week, she received an invitation for a new speaking engagement with three appearances booked in Oslo, Stockholm, and Gothenburg.
This case study demonstrates how public speaking training can be used as a powerful tool for positioning, thought leadership, and business development — not just to become a better speaker, but to unlock new opportunities through your message.
